Minock Park Place is a thoughtfully planned mixed use development coming to 19505 Grand River, located in the heart of Detroit’s Grandmont Rosedale neighborhood. Known for its strong sense of community, historic character, and tree lined streets, Grandmont Rosedale has long been one of the city’s most connected and engaged neighborhoods. The Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation (GRDC) is co-owner/developer of Minock Park Place. GRDC is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing the five neighborhoods in the Grandmont Rosedale community. We pursue this mission through community engagement, housing programs and economic development initiatives.

Designed to both serve and strengthen the surrounding community, Minock Park Place will offer 42 affordable apartment homes for qualifying seniors aged 55 and older, creating a welcoming and supportive place to live. In addition, the development will introduce 5,400 square feet of new commercial space, bringing fresh businesses and services directly into the neighborhood. These new businesses will play an important role in enhancing everyday life for residents and neighbors alike, adding convenience, opportunity, and energy to the Grand River corridor. By combining housing and local commerce in one cohesive destination, Minock Park Place is helping to foster connection, support local entrepreneurship, and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive future for Grandmont Rosedale.
